PeoplesHost offers free website migration services for new customers looking to migrate from their existing web hosting provider. Fill out the form to the left with your current cPanel details. This will allow our migration specialists to migrate your site from your existing cPanel host.
If you aren’t certain whether or not you have a cPanel account with your current web host provider you’ll want to fill out the general migration services request form. One of our migration specialists will reach out to you.

Yes, we offer all new customers free migration services. No additional cost! Our free migration service applies to the first two (2) websites. After which, a $30 one-time payable fee will be invoiced for each website thereafter.
For a cPanel to cPanel migration you will need to provide your cPanel URL, cPanel username, and cPanel password.
For all other migrations we will need access to your existing control panel, root access, or you will need to provide a full package of your site’s files and databases so we can perform a manual migration.
Yes, a migration is possible if you’re using WordPress.com and are looking to move to the self-hosted version of WordPress.org.
Yes, a migration is possible if you’re currently using Blogger. You will need to determine which CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla!, PrestaShop), what theme or template you will use, and provide an XML export of your Blogger site.
Yes, a migration is possible if you’re currently using SquareSpace. You will need to determine which CMS (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla!, PrestaShop), what theme or template you will use, and provide an XML export of your SquareSpace site.
Yes, your email accounts will still work. Our website migration specialists will thoroughly check your email accounts and settings during the migration process. Remember all email clients on laptops, mobile, or tablet devices will need to be updated with your new PeoplesHost mail settings.
If your current hosting provider uses cPanel your current email accounts and messages will migrate seamlessly. If your current host does not use cPanel we recommend you archive your old emails or use an email client with a POP3 connection to save your email messages on your computer locally.
Typically, a site migration will last anywhere between 1-3 hours. However, the time it takes to complete a migration strictly depends on the size of your site and whether or not there are any unexpected issues migrating your data from your current host.
During the migration process we will keep you updated and let you know when your DNS settings can be updated.
Once you have updated the nameservers on your domain DNS propagation will occur. Please don’t make any changes to your site until your new nameservers fully propagate across the web.
Our free migration services applies to Shared, Business, VPS, and Dedicated customers.
Yes, your domain names can be transferred to PeoplesHost as well. We highly recommend that you initiate the transfer of your domain(s) after the migration of your site(s) has been completed.
